Cross River State, popularly referred to as "The People's Paradise" is one of the constituent states of Nigeria.
It is situated in Nigeria's Delta region, in the tropical rainforest belt. It lies between latitudes 5° 32' and 4° 27' North and longitudes 7° 50' and 9° 28' East.
